Pixelogic, creator of digital sculpting program Zbrush, interviewed Sebastian Legrain, character artist for Human Revolution. Much of the interview centres around the use of Zbrush in creating the assets for the game, but there are snippets discussing the growth of the games industry within Montreal, as well as the daunting feat of creating a Deus Ex prequel for Eidos-Montreal’s debut game.
It’s a good read for those interested in games production, especially with Zbrush, and plenty of links for those who want to know the various techniques used.
Update: CG Society also have an interview with Art Director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, who I think may have had the leading hand in the design of Jensen. This interview is much more closer to the visual style of Human Revolution, from inspirations such as Renaissance architecture and games like Metal Gear Solid.
Thanks for the tip Lucius!
