Youtuber Ashens has uploaded a near 50-minute long review of the Open Pandora handheld-computer. Ashens may be known to some readers for his Yahtzee-style reviews of knock-off consoles such as the Popstation and Vii, well worth watching if you haven’t.
The Open Pandora is essentially a small Linux-powered computer, with a main aim of running emulators of consoles and handhelds of times gone by. It started shipping last year and is certainly a curious beast.

The review will give you a pretty good oversight of the console and its capabilities as well as many shots from retro games Ashens tries not to get sucked into.
It’s certainly a very nifty device for people looking for a small computer and a device with which to emulate your old games on, though the price point is maybe a bit hard to swallow. Personally if you’re looking for casual emulation on the go I would suggest an old PSP.
If the price doesn’t put you off and you wish to learn more, as well as possibly even order one, you can do so here.
