As you may know Cataclysm is coming out 7th December. You may also know Christmas is just around the corner (33 days if you’re counting). Blizzard knows both these things too.
So in the spirit of the season and bringing back lapsed players and welcoming even more into the fold they’ve got WoW, Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King going real cheap, Burning Crusade was announed recently on Blizzcon. For the time being I am on Vanilla, spending a lot on WoW Classic Era Gold for testing purposes. Lucky there is no flying mount in this WoW version.
The full box set will set you back $20/£16/€20/etc (a bit of Steam pricing there that bites Euro users), or individually for $5 for the first two and $10 for WotLK. You can either gift it to a friend or throw the concept of Christmas out the window and buy it for yourself. Now there’s no solid date on when this ends, but as it is “in preparation for the launch of Cataclysm.” I think it’s safe to assume this offer is from now until the 7th.
For good measure here’s the trailer for Cataclysm. Links are beneath
