Press X or Die is now two years old

Two years ago, with the infamous words “feck it, I’m bored”, Press X or Die was born.  We still don’t have a studio, but there was at least a basic game made in the past year. However, as promised, we have been on the up and up.

We’ve had a pretty good year, the major update since last year is the change over to the current site design. At the same time, the forum was formally folded into the whole Press X or Die thing we have going on, which will hopefully lead to more fun in the future. Early this year we had our top story, breaking the news about the Portal 2 PS3 & PC co-op. We’ve also started working more with indies, bringing you guys more reviews than ever before, with a few competitions and give-aways on top. We are still, however, bringing the old blend of opinion pieces, news, friday freeloaders and tips, as well as the new Roundtable format. In the future we’re also looking towards expanding with video content, so be on the look out for that.

The past year has also seen us expand our troop of writers, as well as losing two in a terrible accident at the acid plant. Actually I lie, Miodrag and Kyle are now writing over at DeltaGamer where I wish them best of luck.

Once again, I thank the writers and readers of Press X or Die for the fun and interesting times to be had running this blog. You guys are great.
