The BBC have revealed details for the third entry in its Doctor Who Adventure Game series, which will allow players to pilot the controls of The Doctor’s legendary timeship for the very first time.
Simply entitled ‘TARDIS’, episode 3 will allow players, as Amy Pond, to fly the famous Time travelling ship for the very first time, when the Doctor gets her stuck in a temporal riptide and is accidentally sucked out into space! Multiple rooms within the dimensionally transcendental ship will be explorable, as well as introduce to new Monsters into the Doctor Who universe.
“TARDIS is a brilliant, brilliant adventure” says Steven Moffat. “It’s funny, touching, terrifying, amazing – everything a Doctor Who episode should be. Since 1963, kids have wondered what it would be like to control the TARDIS. Now we’re handing complete control of the most powerful ship in all of space and time to a generation of children. Everybody duck!”
Executive produced by the TV show’s Lead Writer and Showrunner Steven Moffat, and written by Torchwood and Doctor Who veteran James Moran, TARDIS will be available for PC and Mac in the UK for free on the BBC website on August 27th.
Have you played it? Or any others? Are they worth a look? I know they’re free, but time is money. :D
