Having previously been teased at the San Diego Comic Con almost a year ago, Marvel have now officially revealed that they’re bring some of their biggest superheroes and supervillans to LittleBigPlanet.
Over 4 weeks Media Molecule will release a Marvel Costume pack featuring 5 costumes based on Marvels famous and infamous characters. Also announced was a Marvel level pack, featuring 4 playable Marvel levels where Sackboy must stop Magneto’s plans, as well as many Marvel themed items, stickers and music, which will be released at sometime during this period as well.
The 20 costumes will allow Sackboys and Sackgirls to dress as:
- Captain America
- Daredevil
- Doctor Octopus
- Elektra
- Ghost Rider
- Green Goblin
- Hulk
- Invisible Woman
- Iron Man
- The Human Torch
- Magneto
- Mystique
- the Punisher
- Roque
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- The Thing
- Thor
- Venom
- Wolverine
Official images of each outfit will be revealed by Marvel.com starting next monday, with LBP players being able to purchase the first costume pack from PSN on July 7th. All together now, everyone… Excelsior!
