Ubisoft’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, based on the cult comic book series Scott Pilgrim, will be released on the Playstation Network August 10th, just in time for Edgar Wright/Michael Cera movie adaptation’s release the week after.
With a chiptune soundtrack from Anamanaguchi and creative input from Paul Robertson – of Kings of Power 4 Billion % fame – Ubisofts sidescrolling retro beat ’em up certainly looks like a game to look out for this summer. Although currently a timed exclusive for the PSN, the game will be coming to XBLA at a later, currently unannounced date. Check out the official E3 trailer for the game below, courtesy of IGN:
