The last tidbit of information coming out of the Microsoft Press event earlier this morning was a redesigned 360, as seen in the above video.

The new 360 is shipping to North American retailers TODAY and will be on shelves this week. The European launch is scheduled for some time in July.

Although this was previously suspected the big news is that it’ll come with a built in 250GB harddrive, built in WiFi and will launch at the same price as the current Xbox 360 Elite, which has only a 120GB harddrive and no WiFi. The new 360 will also have a port for Kinect with older 360’s needing to have a separate power supply for the new device. Certainly not ideal for those who’ve already got a full powerbar behind there TV, but not a game breaker.
